Kristin Fischer is set to join CNN as the Space and Defense Correspondent in July 2021. She covers everything, including NASA, the Space Force and commercial space businesses to the rise of Space Tourism. Kristin's parents were both NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space, and she has since worked as a White House reporter for FOX News, covering Biden and Trump Administrations' positions in space matters. During that time, she was also a reporter covering impeachment proceedings for the president, the 2020 Presidential campaign as well as efforts of two administrations in order to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. In addition, she went on trips with President Trump and Vice President Biden extensively. It included a secret visit to Afghanistan.
